- "On The Sly" by The Bamboos. The Chief announces a grant to the doctors, then tells the fouth years residents they are attending for the day; Lexie is told she doesn't get to be an attending.
- "You Always Make Me Smile" by Kyle Andrews. The attendings discuss their presentations to The Chief; Arizona asks Alex if he talked to Seth's mother; Meredith & Avery carve eggs in competition to do Derek's surgery.
- "Look Alive" by Wait. Think. Fast. Lexie assists Meredith on a craniotomy; Alex begins the breast surgery on Seth; Teddy heads in to the transplant panel after chatting with Bailey; Derek arrives to check on Meredith's surgery.
- "Head Or Your Heart" by Mat Kearney. Cristina takes a blood sample from Roy; the residents head home; The Chief congratulates Owen on getting the grant; Derek looks worried when Meredith has problems finding her house keys.

- "Wouldn't Change A Thing" by Joe Jonas ft Demi Lovato. While talking to the documentary crew, Alex asks his patient, Lily, to turn down her music; repeats as Alex sings to Lily while she has an MRI.
- "All My Life" by Calahan. The residents have drinks at Joe's to celebrate the arm replacement surgery.
- "You Know The Way (acoustic)" by Right The Stars. Alex talks to Lily about the trachea implant, before she is taken into surgery; Callie says she's going with Arizona to Africa; Bailey talks about Mary, a patient that didn't wake up after surgery.

- "Ching Ching Ching" by Nikka Costa. Arizona gives Mark stuff as she & Callie pack for Africa; Meredith fills in Derek on a grant; Owen asks Cristina to help her set up the trauma lab.
- "Never Gonna Leave Me" by Sia. Dr. Stanley talks on the phone while Bailey assists her with Mary Portman's autopsy; Callie tells Mark about all the things she can do in Africa.
- "Bang Bang" by K'naan ft Adam Levine. April gets Alex to help her get the patient into the ambulance, then arrives at the hospital; Owen announces that April & her team won.
- "Daydreaming" by Dark Dark Dark. Arizona tells Callie she wants to go to Africa alone; The Chief congratulates Cristina on her work; Alex teases April about her actions in the trauma lab; Lexi tells Mark to stop looking at her ass; Derek tells Meredith she can't be part of his Alzheimer's clinical trial; Meredith tells Derek that Cristina blames her for the trauma she went through; Cristina tells Owen that she quit.

- "Gone Man" by Eels. Cristina sits in the middle of a pile of boxes; Alex's car overheats; the residents chast as Teddy makes a patient presentation; the audience starts asking Teddy about Cristina.
- "Dead Disco" by Metric. Callie finds Cristina jumping on her bed, then tries to talk to her about quitting medicine.
- "Dreamer" by K'naan. Alex shoots the other residents with a ping pong gun during lunch; Lexie shoots Meredith & a secret service guy with the pingpong gun.
- "Shouldn't Have Loved" by Azure Ray. Jackson begins operating on Mrs. Cortez; Teddy & Derek argue while operating on the Emir; Jackson tells Bailey that Mrs. Cortez's death was not his fault, then Bailey orders him out of the OR.
- "Could It Be" by Mackintosh Braun. The doctors enjoy Cristina's housewarming party; Callie asks Mark if she can move with him temporarily; April starts crying; Derek tells Cristina she should keep her hardwood floors.
- "Sing Me To Sleep" by Fran Healy ft Neko Case. The Chief & Bailey talk about how well their residents did; Jackson punches Alex; Lexie tends Jackson's wound; Alex tells Meredith that his brother was diagnosed schizophrenic; Cristina & Derek avoid returning to the party.

- "Run To The Sun" by Vassy. Lexie awakens Jackson from his nightmare about Charles' death; Derek arrive home as the residents get ready for work, then tells Meredith he got the grant; Meredith drives the residents to work.
- "Celebrate" by Imani Coppola. The Attendings are shocked to see Cristina bartending at Joe's.
- "Immune" by Amateur Night. The Attendings are served Cristina's special drink 'Early Onset Alzheimers'.
- "Open" by Free and Easy. Teddy joins the Attendings at Joe's, tells them about her bad date, then urges Callie to go to Africa; Teddy spots Cristina serving drinks to a bachelor party.
- "Runaway" by The National. Lexie & Owen work to save Reilly as Jackson works on Reilly's brother, Lucas; Cristina serves Derek a scotch.
- "Bleeding" by Calahan. Mark tries to convince Derek to join the group; the Attendings continue discussing Cristina's new career path; Mark tells Callie a woman has been checking her out.

- "Nun Gimmel Heh Shin" by The LeeVees. Henry informs Teddy that his girlfriend turned him down, then she asks to look at his chart; Mark asks Trina about her husband as he works on her ear.
- "O Come All Ye Faithful" by Ashton Allen. Teddy tries to convince The Chief to treat Henry pro bono.
- "The First Snowflake" by Boy Least Likely To. Cristina breaks down while having her picture taken with the fish she caught.
- "Silent Night" by Low. Jackson tries to interrupt as Mark kisses Lexie; Cristina tells Owen the trip was good, then she hangs her picture on the fridge; Meredith asks Derek is he thinks Cristina will be okay; Callie opens her door to find Arizona standing there.

- "Cry Baby" by Cee Lo Green. Meredith & Derek look at her negative pregnancy test; Callie cries as Mark tells her they need to leave, then they discover that Arizona is moving back into their apartment.

- "Harder Than Easy" by Jack Savoretti. Henry tells Teddy about how his life has been and that he considers her a friend.

Arizona asks Mark what she has to do to get another chance with Callie; the Residents complain about their evaluations as Laurel walks into the kitchen; Owen asks Cristina about her day; Derek reassures Meredith about not getting pregnant immediately; Arizona asks Callie for another chance, then Callie reveals she's pregnant.
